Michelle is a graduate from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Exercise Science. While in college, she raced for UGA’s triathlon team. After a year on the team, she became involved in coaching and eventually took over as executive director. After 4 years, 16 triathlons, and over 125 new members on the team, it was time to say good bye and graduate. By finding a love for coaching and guiding others, she became a NASM personal trainer focusing mostly on the rehabilitation aspect of fitness. She has worked with all populations from children with disabilities to adults in nursing homes in various work and volunteer settings. The last few years she has been a personal trainer and spin instructor at various gyms throughout Georgia. This is where she met the infamous Jonathan who showed her the new world of mountain biking and rappelling. With all of these new adventures, she is encouraged to continue challenging herself and others to reach past the limits and embrace the challenge. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
